CauseMatch

Discover if CauseMatch is a fit for you.

Most jobs ask you to choose between doing well and doing good. This one doesn't.

CauseMatch is the fundraising platform nonprofits use to run their biggest campaigns. Every account you bring raises more for a real impact. Your commission and the world's good are doing the same math.

We're growing the team. We're looking for experienced consultative sellers who'd rather problem-solve a nonprofit's challenges and become real partners rather than hard pitch a product to get a quick sale.

If compounding income, real impact, and a stable long-term career anchored in Israel sound like the path you want to make, keep reading.

What makes CauseMatch unique

Three things that make this opportunity amazing.

Long-term career in Israel

We hire and grow in Israel. No forced relocation when a board decides to rebuild go-to-market in New York. Our Founder has built his family and home here, and our team in Israel will stay here too.

Residual commission that compounds

We want to serve great clients for the long term and build trusted relationships. So in addition to the sales commission, you earn a commission on your entire renewal client base, even though our Customer Success teams handle the renewal process.

Every account matters

Each account that you bring will raise more funds for Jewish nonprofits and thus help more people, and make more impact. You're not just selling vanilla SaaS. You're selling something that truly improves the world.

Put these three together, and you get something rare: great income that compounds, impactful work, and a career anchored in Israel for the long term.

In turn, it requires hard work and skill to get there, especially in year one. You'll need to build pipe, sharpen your consultative skills, and work US hours. If you achieve that, you'll end up with a long tenure, stability and a growing book of business that generates great compensation.

What you need to bring

Key traits to succeed.

Strong at consultative selling

The most valuable skill in this role, and frankly the rarest. You'll sit across from executive directors, ask the questions that surface what's actually blocking their fundraising, and shape an approach their organization can execute.

You don't need to walk in as a nonprofit expert. You do need to learn the space fast enough to be genuinely insightful on a call within weeks, not months. Plenty of salespeople can pitch. Fewer can sell consultatively. The ones who can build the biggest books here.

Genuine care and interest

Leaders of Jewish nonprofits care about relationships. And they want to work with people who truly care about their success. To be successful, you'll need to find the space motivating and exciting.

Honest trade-offs

Trade-offs to keep in mind.

Compensation curve

We offer a high total On-Target Earnings package that grows over time as your book of business grows. However, our base salary is lower than a 'hot startup.' This is intentional. We focus on driving results and investing for the long term.

If you build a book of business you end up with higher compensation where a growing part of it comes from renewals, rather than just what you sold this quarter.

Live in Israel, work US hours

True, at CauseMatch you get the benefit of living in Israel. However, our target market is North America (and some UK), not so much EMEA. As such, you are expected to work US hours.

We have a flexible, accountability-based work culture, so you do have the room to adjust your schedule reasonably to fit your family life.

How we hire

Our hiring process is more diligent than most.

Since we want to make long-term bets on people, our hiring process is likely more involved than other companies. Other companies are quicker to hire and let the first couple months be a "trial by fire," instead of a deeper interview process.

We do not operate that way. We want to front-load the diligence to generate high confidence that upon being hired we're set up for success. If you are not up for a thoughtful and diligent hiring process, then best that we don't begin together.
